l-Khanfaroush is one of the traditional Arabic sweets that is especially famous in the countries of the Arabian Gulf. It is in the form of small circles that are fried or fried on an iron sheet. Al-Khanfaroush is prepared from several simple ingredients, like all types of traditional Arabic sweets.
Ingredients and Method

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup Rice Powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 egg
  • 1 1/2 spoon rose water
  • 1tspn Vanilla
  • 1tspn baking Powder
  • 1/2tspn Grounded Cardmom
  • 1/4 tspn saffron
  • as needed salt

Method

  1. Whisk sugar with eggs and vanilla until the texture becomes creamy
  2. Add the milk and rose water with cardamom and saffron and keep mixing until the ingredients are combined
  3. Gradually add the flour to mix the ingredients well
  4. You can add a little water if necessary until you have a slightly liquid dough similar in texture to pancake dough
  5. Let the mixture rest for 30 minutes
  6. Use a non-stick frying pan and brush it with a little vegetable oil
  7. With a tablespoon or scoop, pour a little dough
