Sago



Sago is considered one of the delicious Emirati sweets, which can be prepared with milk or saffron in most recipes. Today we present to you, Madam, a method of preparing it with rose water and saffron in its original way without using milk.

Ingredients
- 3 cup Sagou
- 6 cup Hot Water
- Saffron
- 2 cup of sugar
- 1 tsp Cardmom powder
- ghee
Method
- Wash the sago beans well and soak them in hot water for half an hour
- In a pot on the fire, put the sugar and leave until it caramelizes, and be careful so that it does not burn from you
- Pour hot water and leave until the caramelized sugar dissolves
- Leave to boil on the fire, then filter the sago and add the caramel water.
- Stir until all the ingredients are homogeneous, then add the saffron and cardamom powder and stir
