Scientific name of Canihua is Chenopodium Pallidicaule. It was served only to the Inca Emperor & his court. It’s called ‘baby quinoa’ because it looks like the smaller version of Quinoa Red. Locals in Peru, Mexico belt call it the ‘Father of Quinoa’ since they know that it’s nutritionally far better than Quinoa. It is the latest Super Food from Andes.
